New Administrative Reports

movement documentation and other administrative reports have been
modified to meet current regulations
Electronic
Identification
Trial projects are continuing on a number of farms with
Electronic Identification systems.
New Palm PDA Sheep program
A new sheep program for Palm PDA has just been launched. This
enables users to record very detailed information when entering
birth details. Designed for commercial and pedigree farmers, and
both easycare and intensive systems, the program caters for all
sheep management systems.
Direct import of data from Signet
scheme 30/09/06
For users on the Signet recording scheme, Kingswood / TGM
sheep software now has an import option on the main screen to allow
the user to pick up the Signet data. Signet data can be sent to the
Signet member in 'csv' file format. This file contains the latest
EBV results. For users setting up for the first time, the system
will create the animals if they don't exist. This is a tremendous
step forward for new customers, as the Signet data has the main
animal data as well as EBV values, allowing us to pick up the animal
type, animal identity, date of birth, sex, sire and dam.
Electronic identification section of the sheep software has been
enhanced 18/07/06
For users using the Agrident handheld tag reader (the one
with the numeric keypad), the software now allows weighings to be
recorded to 1 decimal place.
